#UFFVOTES: 2022 Voter’s Guide – Join us Friday, 10/7 at 11AM EST (Virtual)

The midterm election is just over 4 weeks away, and UFF’s Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaign continues to build momentum. Our goal: to secure a strong future for higher education and labor in the State of Florida.

Members can join us Friday, October 07, 2022 at 11AM EST on zoom to learn about:

1.) Funding for GOTV Events

2.) Shifting from promoting voter registration to getting voters to the polls

3.) Successes at UFF Chapters

4.) UFF’s new Voter Guide

…and more!

There will be opportunities for questions and discussion.

Don’t Forget to:

Register to Vote and Remind your Community: Colleagues, Friends, and Family!

  • Make sure your friends and family are registered and have a plan to vote in the General Election
  • The deadline to register to vote is October 11thCheck your Registration Status Now! 
  • Remind your students to Register to Vote!
    • As long as you stay nonpartisan, you can make class announcements and utilize school resources (email, your online course site, office hours, etc.) to remind students about the registration deadline and election day
  • Join our Monthly UFFVotes Call!
    • Each first Friday of the month UFFVotes will host a Get Out the Vote (GOTV) zoom call to learn about the campaign, strategize, and get actionable steps to bring back to your chapter.

Apply for Statewide Funding for a GOTV Event on your Campus!

Finally, you can request funding for GOTV activities hosted by your chapter between now and the election! If you need additional support or want to talk through event brainstorming ideas, join our #UFFVotes Office Hour every Wednesday at 6pm!
